I'm an entrepreneur with more than one small business and I'm a landlord. This software pays itself off with one use if you think about it, it saves you from having to retain an attorney to draft up simple documents. For a point of reference, go to LegalZoom and act as if you're about to cash out for a contract (articles of incorporation, lease agreement, anything like that), then look at the cost of Business‑in‑a‑Box...

I bought Business‑in‑a‑Box for that exact reason, I was paying an attorney about $300 (or more) every time I needed a document drafted up. I found Business‑in‑a‑Box while looking into whether or not it was possible for a non-attorney to draft up "legal documents".

If you plan on paying an attorney to draft up a legal document, starting a business, renting out a property or anything that requires specialized documents it is beyond obvious that this is a tool worth having.

There are more document templates in here than I could use in an entire lifetime. It over time was something I had begun to take for granted. I just bought a new PC, and reached out to Business‑in‑a‑Box to ask how to transfer my license key, this is an issue I've run into a lot with purchasing a new work PC.

This is verbatim MY response to THEIR response: "Thank you. That was some of the most helpful customer service I've ever seen with something like that."

I felt compelled to put in a good word for them because out of 6 license keys I needed transferred to my new PC, they are the only one who responded to my support ticket immediately. Their response was step by step instructions with a record of my license key.

I have recently purchased a Business‑in‑a‑Box licence.

Believe me, it was not a decision I came to lightly, as I am based in Africa, and our exchange rate is anything but favourable against the USD. However, after doing my due diligence (i.e. reviewing the BiaB product offering, installing and reviewing the trial version, following up on online reviews, and then reaching out to the BiaB team with some questions), I am fully convinced that it is worth the investment.

Their response time was superb, the communication professional and friendly, and their support excellent.

I have already started using one of the many business plan and NDA templates, and have found it immensely useful thus far.

(The only reason I am not giving them a 5/5 rating is because I've not used more of the Business‑in‑a‑Box product offering as yet.)

I've been using Business‑in‑a‑Box for over a year now and I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of the program. As on attorney, document drafting is one of the Cornerstones Of our profession and i've yet to come across such a comprehensive and deep collection of docs. I focus on startups and small business in particular, so this software is like a gift from above! I'm able to mix both general and industry specific docs to create client packages tailored directly to the individual. Lastly, I had an issue after updating that wouldn't allow me to use my product key. I e-mailed support and in under an hour they didn't just respond, they had fixed the problem and offered me additional services for my troubles. I recommend this to any small business owner or business operator in general.

Business Document Templates Made Easy

So far I have used only about 5 of the document templates. Each has been easily customizable to the needs of my non-profit organization without having to pay an attorney to write for us. Well worth the $199 cost. You do need to have some additional business/legal experience to know which documents to choose and what parts are customizable, but for me, that has not been a problem.

Best software for dummies like me!

I'm 67 years old, now running my own consultant business (need lots of different documents). I'm really not good with software and computers but Business‑in‑a‑Box is so simple to use, even an old timer like me finds it easy!

Quite a few documents with a very good search engine

Documents are very good but each one will need to be tailored to the particular situation and should be cross-references with a checklist for deficiencies.

Not only is it very comprehensive and of a high quality in terms of content, it also represents fantastic value for businesses of any size. I'm not sure how I'd do without it – it’s worth its weight in gold and paid back for itself many times. You will save MONEY and TIME with this software.
